Today, the next — twentieth session of the Council of People’s Deputies of Tashkent City was held. During the session, information and reports from responsible officials on pressing issues in the capital’s life and governance were heard and discussed.

During the session: — Information from the Tashkent City Prosecutor’s Office on the results of 2025; — Report of the Main Department of Internal Affairs on public safety and prevention of offenses; — Data from the Tax Department on local budget revenues and tax arrears; — Information from the Justice Department on the practice of law enforcement and the state of legal education and outreach; — Reports of the Main Health Department on its work in 2025 and the implementation of the national strategy against childhood cancer were heard.

In addition, the issue of establishing the “Kelajak Markazi” (Future Center) in Yangihayot district was discussed.

At the end of the session, relevant decisions were adopted on the agenda items, and specific tasks were assigned to responsible employees.
