The Public Council under the Tashkent City Hokimiyat is a council of active citizens of the capital. The Public Council is established to organize constructive dialogue between residents and the city administration, address socially significant issues, generate new ideas based on the best international practices, implement public oversight, and involve experts in the work of the Hokimiyat. The primary areas of the Public Council’s work include selecting and promoting the most important and beneficial projects for the city, as well as providing expert support to the city’s administration. The Public Council is open to all city residents interested in developing civic institutions in Tashkent and willing to assist the administration with their expertise and support.
