Mahtumquli Street is a major traffic flow that requires reconsideration. The solutions we have implemented are clearly visible in our “Before and Now” comparison.

Two new U-turn points have been created. This will reduce unnecessary travel distance for vehicles and decrease traffic congestion at major intersections by an average of 15–20%.

Pedestrian safety is a priority: a modern traffic light facility has been put into operation in place of unregulated crossings. Now pedestrians can safely cross the road through a specially regulated crossing.

These solutions are aimed at minimizing risks on the roads and making movement across the city comfortable for each of us. The Traffic Management Department will continue to systematically introduce solutions that make urban traffic orderly and safe for everyone. 🤝
