⭕️ On 4 March, planned works continued in the capital to improve the technical condition of the street and road network, enhance traffic safety and throughput. Due to rain, in order to ensure work quality, milling and asphalt paving works were temporarily suspended today. ⬆️ Road signs 🟡 16 new ones installed; 🔄 39 replaced. 📍 Buyuk Ipak Yuli, Muqimiy, Bobur, Nukus, Sebzor 🚦 Smart traffic lights 🔹 Work schemes were prepared for installation at 6 intersections on Buyuk Ipak Yuli street; 🔹 Excavation and asphalt cutting works were carried out at the Qatortol-Taxtapul intersection; 🔹 Traffic lights were activated at pedestrian crossings in front of Hamkorbank and the Blind Society on Cho‘ponota street; 🔹 Asphalt cutting works were carried out at the Qatortol 1-tor and Qatortol streets intersection; 🔹 Prokol (horizontal drilling) works were performed at the intersection of Xonobodtepa Shah Street and Qumariq Street. 🏗 Bus stop renovation 📍 Buyuk Ipak Yuli (2), Maxtumquli (3), Osiyo (1), KHAY (1) — foundation renovation works are ongoing for the installation of a total of 7 modern bus stops. 🏗 Additional works 📍 3050 metres of horizontal road markings were painted on Maxtumquli Street; 📍 8 road manhole covers (hatches) were repaired on Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street; 📍 More than 50 road signs across the city were moved to separate poles, and old poles were painted; 📍 Camera installation points were marked for the dedicated public transport “A-lane” on Bobur Street; 📍 More than 100 pedestrian crossings were inspected on 55 km of roads, and instructions for adaptation were issued; 📍 Works continue on the project to create additional dedicated “A-lanes” for public transport on 50 km of roads; 📍 21 streetlight metal poles were painted on Sebzor Street. 🔄 Works continue in accordance with weather conditions to ensure safety and efficient traffic flow on the city streets.
