The works on implementing our President's decision regarding the modernization of the transport system have begun

For this purpose, the specially established Center for Organizing Road Traffic held a presentation today on solving traffic congestion and ecology issues in Tashkent city, as well as on general public transport control. According to the given reports, large-scale works on installing “smart” traffic lights, drawing lines on roads in accordance with standards, and properly organizing parking lots will begin very soon. I hope that the team led by the city mayor will direct all its strength and capabilities to fully ensure the execution of the decision. I will personally monitor its implementation. I wish success to the team in implementing this project, which is extremely important and very necessary for the capital.
