Hashar — a value that unites Uzbeks even in the USA

In the Tashkent Garden in Seattle, Washington State, USA, our compatriots and American friends worked together and held a hashar (community clean-up day).

This noble work was organised on the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington State.

Our compatriots and American friends paid attention to the cleanliness of the garden and made the surroundings even more pleasant.

Most importantly, this day was remembered not only for the labour, but also for sincere conversations, new acquaintances and warm meetings. This gathering held in Seattle became a practical expression of solidarity and care.

After the work, everyone gathered around our national dish — plov (osh).

Such initiatives that associate the name of Tashkent even in distant Seattle with cleanliness, kindness, friendship and Uzbek solidarity are especially valuable.
