ICTWEEK Uzbekistan – 2026: Tashkent is expanding new partnerships in digital governance

Within the framework of the international week “ICTWEEK Uzbekistan – 2026” held in Tashkent City on 22–25 September, a series of meetings aimed at improving digital governance in the capital, introducing modern technological solutions and expanding international cooperation were held.

The Digital Development Department of the Tashkent City Hokimiyat presented more than 15 digital governance solutions at the exhibition. They cover such areas as education, investments, renovation, utility services, parking lots, landscaping, tourism and tax revenues, and are based on artificial intelligence, digital monitoring and data-driven management technologies.

📊Within the framework of the week, negotiations were held with representatives of AHA, UNV, Hikvision, Showmac, eSIX, Cogniser and Delta companies, as well as foreign experts. Issues of digitalising education, Smart City technologies, video surveillance and urban security, AI-based monitoring, telecommunications infrastructure and the development of modern data processing centres were discussed at the meetings.

🤝As a result of the negotiations, practical agreements were reached in three important areas.

▫️First, cooperation agreements were formalised with Promobility LLC on the use of the “Toshkent Avtoturargohlar SI” software module designed for managing paid parking lots in Tashkent through a single information system, online monitoring and automation of payments.

▫️Second, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Tashkent City Main Department of Emergency Situations on the joint introduction of a software system designed to prevent fire hazards, analyse and monitor high-risk facilities.

▫️Third, an agreement was reached with the “Municipal Asset Management Centre” SUE on the practical implementation of a digital solution designed to control and monitor stalls in markets and parking lots in the adjacent areas.
