The city stage of the “Women’s Sports Olympiad” aimed at widely involving women in mass sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and increasing their social activity was held in Tashkent city.

The event began with an opening ceremony, which was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Tashkent city — Head of the Family and Women’s Affairs Department Shahnoza Sultanova, representatives of the Sports Department, organizers, and participants.

🏓 During the competitions, women competed against each other in table tennis, chess, checkers, and athletics. The competitions in each sport were held with high activity and excellent spirit.

🔺 At the end of the competitions, winners were determined in each discipline and awarded with diplomas and commemorative gifts. The women who won the city stage will now represent Tashkent city at the republican stage.
