📍It is no secret that with the onset of cold weather, air quality in Tashkent significantly deteriorates — mainly due to the activities of greenhouse farms located in Tashkent and the nearby areas of the Tashkent region.

In this regard, a working group headed by the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic, Sh. Tukhtaboyev, with the participation of representatives from the ecology service, the hokimiyat, the sanitary service, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, is conducting environmental raids and inspecting the activities of greenhouse farms in Tashkent and the Tashkent region, including the Zangiota district.

🇺🇿It should be noted that last year, at the initiative of the Tashkent City Hokimiyat, similar measures were carried out, and the illegal activities of a number of greenhouse farms located in the capital were halted.

💭The purpose of the raids is to identify sources of air pollution, ensure compliance with environmental and sanitary standards, take measures against violators, prevent the recurrence of such cases, and improve the environmental situation in the capital and the Tashkent region.
