Traffic situation on the capital’s roads as of 15 September: key indicators
🔺 The Tashkent City Traffic Organisation Centre continuously monitors traffic flow, congestion levels and public transport operations on the capital’s streets.
📊 On 15 September, 1 478 562 vehicles moved on the capital’s roads.
Number of vehicles moving on the capital’s roads during peak hours:
— between 07:00 and 08:00 in the morning – 307 944;
— between 17:00 and 18:00 in the evening – 326 914.
🚌 Public transport operations
On 15 September, 1 675 buses operating on 170 routes completed 22 174 trips and carried 1 525 311 passengers to their destinations.
The Tashkent Metro carried 1 160 612 passengers.
The highest passenger flows were recorded at Chinor, Sergeli, Choshtepa, Olmazor, Chilonzor, Buyuk Ipak Yo‘li, Do‘stlik and Beruniy metro stations.
🚦 Congestion situation
According to monitoring by the Situation Centre during peak hours:
In the morning between 08:00 and 09:00:
— congestion reached level 7 at 9 intersections (Nurafshon–Beruniy, KHAY–Sag‘bon, M. Ulug‘bek–T. Malik, Chilonzor–Cho‘ponota, Furqat–I. Karimov, Samarqand Darvoza–Qoratosh, KHAY–Xonobod, Mahrjon–Sariko‘l, Muqimiy–Bobur).
In the evening between 18:00 and 19:00:
— congestion reached level 7 at 10 intersections (Sebzor, P. Mahmud, Saqichmon, Nurafshon–Beruniy, Samarqand Darvoza–Qoratosh, Mehrjon–Sariko‘l, Parkent–M. Ulug‘bek, Sag‘bon, Istiqbol, Cho‘ponota).
Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance, take into account the traffic load at these intersections during peak hours and, where necessary, use alternative routes.
Prompt measures taken
To stabilise traffic flow at congested points, traffic-light programmes were coordinated and green-signal times were extended on the required directions. Traffic police officers were also deployed at the necessary intersections to regulate traffic.

Repair, restoration and scheduled works are being carried out by communal organisations on 15 streets by the following organisations:

During the works, operations that partially affect traffic flow may be carried out; if necessary, certain traffic lanes on the carriageway may be closed.
Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance taking these circumstances into account and, where necessary, to use alternative routes.
Drivers are requested not to stop vehicles on or in front of pedestrian walkways, to give way to pedestrians at designated crossing points, not to occupy bus-stop areas, not to drive in the dedicated “A” lane for public transport and not to obstruct buses entering or leaving stops.
Traffic flow on the capital’s roads continues to be monitored in real time by the Situation Centre.
