🔘 In connection with May 9 — the Day of Memory and Respect, the congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Presidential gift were solemnly presented to a veteran residing in Uchtepa district.

⛈ A delegation including Major General Farhodjon Artikovich Shermatov, Deputy Head of the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Hokim of Uchtepa District Bunyod Bakhtiyarovich Mamadjanov, and other responsible officials visited Anatoly Ivanovich Burikin, a resident of “Birlik” neighborhood, 21st block. He survived the horrors of fascist concentration camps during the Siege of Leningrad in 1941–1945.

🧡 During the visit, the President’s warm congratulatory message was read aloud, and the veteran was solemnly presented with a monetary award of 30 million soums.

🌐 Such attention and respect shown to our veterans, who sacrificed their lives for the peace and prosperity of our country, is a vivid expression of the New Uzbekistan, where human dignity is highly valued.
