Messages have spread on social networks about the installation of an advertising billboard written in Hindi near Tashkent State Medical University
Regarding this situation, a study was conducted a few days ago by the working group of the Tashkent city administration, and it was determined that the advertising billboard was installed illegally without permission documents in the prescribed manner.
📖The billboard did not comply with the rules for providing information in a manner contrary to the requirements of the law
"On the State Language", and the requirements of the law "On
Advertising" were also violated.
❕According to the current legislation, advertising information must be in the state language of the
Republic of Uzbekistan, and if necessary, it can also be provided in other
languages; however, in this case, the priority of the text in the state
language must be preserved, and advertising materials must be legally placed.
Based on the identified violations, the illegally installed advertising billboard was dismantled in the prescribed manner.
Note: The Tashkent city administration calls on business entities to strictly comply with the procedure for obtaining permission when installing advertising billboards, banners, and external information tools, as well as the requirements of the laws on the state language and advertising. In case of detection of legal violations, advertising materials will be dismantled, and measures will be taken against those responsible in the manner prescribed by legislation.
