Members of the Council of People's Deputies of Namangan region are visiting Tashkent

The visit program is aimed at strengthening interregional cooperation and exchanging experience in the field of legislative and representative activities.

First, the guests were received at the Tashkent city administration and met with representatives of the city leadership.

Then the deputies got acquainted with the activities of the Secretariat of the Tashkent city Council of People's Deputies and participated in a round table discussion with their Tashkent colleagues. During the conversation, topical issues of local self-government and dialogue with the population were discussed.

The delegation was also presented with the program for digitizing the capital, which is being implemented by the Digital Development Department under the administration.

In addition, the guests visited the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater and watched the premiere of the play "The War of the Spouses".

At the end of the first day of the visit, a trip was organized to the Museum of Martyrs' Memory in Yunusabad district.

The visit is taking place in a spirit of open dialogue and mutual respect, which contributes to the development of fruitful cooperation.
