Developing a non-compromising attitude towards corruption and conflicts of interest

In order to form an uncompromising attitude towards corruption and conflicts of interest, the Tashkent City Territorial Department of the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the Tashkent City Khokimiyat, the Tashkent City Branch of the Agency for the Development of the Public Service under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Tashkent City Department of Justice, held a seminar "Legal Knowledge Day" aimed at preventing corruption and conflicts of interest.

The seminar was attended by A.Norqulov, a responsible employee of the Internal Control Department of the Tashkent City Khokimiyat, U.Abdukarimov, a responsible employee of the Tashkent City Branch of the Agency for the Development of the Public Service, and Z.Toshtemirov, a responsible employee of the Tashkent City Department of Justice, and employees of the department.

During the seminar, the content and essence of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Combating Corruption”, “On State Civil Service”, “On Conflict of Interest”, and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 595 “On Additional Measures to Ensure Compliance with the Rules of Ethics by State Civil Servants” were explained to the seminar participants, and necessary recommendations were given to prevent corruption and conflict of interest.

At the end of the seminar, proposals were made to prevent negative situations such as corruption and conflict of interest in the activities of state civil servants.
