Underground power transmission cable networks are being renewed
🤩Work on modernizing underground power transmission cable networks continues in the capital.
🤩This serves to further increase the reliability and quality of electricity supply.
In the first 6 months of 2026:
➡️ Power transformers were replaced with higher-capacity ones at 8 substations; ➡️ 297 km of underground power transmission cable networks were renewed.
As a result of the work carried out: ⚡️ 228 MVA of additional electric capacity was created; ⚡️ Damage to cable networks was reduced from 369 to 45 cases; ⚡️ The time to eliminate accidents decreased from 3–4 hours to 72 minutes.
Today’s modernization works are an important step toward providing the capital’s population with uninterrupted electricity.
