Modernization works are underway at the “Botanicheskaya” substation

🤩 The 110/35/6 kV “Botanicheskaya” substation, which has been operating since 1970, is being modernized step by step.

🤩 Within the framework of the modernization:

• Instead of the old 40 MVA and 63 MVA transformers, 2 modern 80 MVA transformers have been installed. • Electrical equipment, relay protection, and automation systems are also being updated.

🤩 As a result, the capacity of the substation will increase significantly and:

• electricity supply will become more stable; • the risk of failures during peak loads will decrease; • the population and entrepreneurs will be provided with high-quality electricity.
