The first meeting of the Tashkent City Regional Council for Combating Corruption was held

The meeting discussed the prevention of corruption, ensuring transparency, as well as the work carried out in 2025 and priority tasks for 2026.

In particular, reports from the relevant officials were heard on the following issues:

— Anti-corruption measures, transparency, and digitalization efforts in city markets, as well as tasks for 2026 in the activities of the “Municipal Assets Management Center” State Unitary Enterprise (SUE);

— Results of 2025 and plans for 2026 regarding the prevention of corruption and ensuring transparency in the cadastre system;

— Implementation of relevant documents of the head of state, as well as measures to prevent corruption and strengthen transparency in Mirzo Ulugbek, Yunusobod, Chilanzor, Bektemir, and Olmazor districts, including in district hokimiyats;

— Execution of the approved “roadmap” and analysis of corruption-related crimes in 2025;

— Work on combating corruption in the vocational education system and priority directions for 2026;

— Draft plan of measures for implementing the positive results of the “Navoiy experience” in Tashkent city.

At the end of the meeting, a final discussion was held on consistently continuing the work based on targeted plans.
