Yashnobod: new apartments, modern schools and open dialogue

▫️Today a number of important events took place in Yashnobod District.

🔺 Convenience, safety and confidence in tomorrow are already being shaped today — through concrete solutions and care for the population.
👍 A solemn opening ceremony of a new residential complex was held in the “Yangi O‘zbekiston” massif. Keys were handed over to more than 40 citizens relocated under the renovation programme, and they had the opportunity to personally get acquainted with their new apartments.
🏫 Afterwards, the construction of 12 modern schools in the districts of Tashkent was launched in cooperation with an international partner. These will be schools of a new format: technological, ergonomic, convenient and inclusive. The schools are designed in three types, each capable of accommodating from 1,500 to 2,000 students. Within the framework of the project, a total of 18,000 new student places will be created. Construction works are planned to be completed in eight months, and the schools are scheduled to open at the beginning of the next academic year.
✔️In the “Toshisti” mahalla, issues that directly affect the daily life of the population were examined on site: the condition of the territory, utility infrastructure, landscaping and the development of entrepreneurship. For city and district services, it is important to see the situation not only through reports, but also directly on the ground — in order to understand where prompt solutions and systemic work are needed.
After that, Shavkat Umurzakov got acquainted with the projects and developments of young students at the specialised school named after Al-Xorazmiy. The main part of the planned working meeting was a dialogue with the activists of 67 mahallas of Yashnobod District. Participants were provided with information about the work carried out, current projects and future tasks.
💬The meeting was richer in open and lively dialogue than ever: the population actively engaged in communication with the city hokim and officials, asked questions and made proposals. The appeals related to the improvement of infrastructure, medical treatment, payment for studies at higher education institutions, the development of entrepreneurship, as well as social and household issues. During the meeting, all appeals were reviewed and more than ten issues were positively resolved on the spot.
📈The main task of this format is for the hokimiyat to report, to inform the population about the work being carried out and the plans, as well as to receive direct feedback and proposals from citizens. It is important that every appeal has a clear solution and control over its implementation, and that the population sees that city services are truly working for them. The convenience of the population begins with the opportunity to be heard and to see that city services are truly working for people.
