Information about the situation on Glinka Street
Dear residents and guests of Tashkent city!
We understand your concern about the incident that occurred on Glinka Street. At present, for the Tashkent City Administration it is of fundamental importance not only to eliminate the consequences of the incident, but also to thoroughly investigate its causes, check the condition of engineering networks, and prevent such situations from recurring.
According to preliminary information, gas that leaked from an underground gas pipeline with a diameter of 219 mm accumulated in a heating network chamber and caused an emergency situation. During the inspection, it was established that gas was leaking from several places in an area of approximately 375 sq. cm (15×25 cm) of the gas pipeline.
At present, industry specialists continue to thoroughly study the causes of the incident and all the details. After the inspection is completed, work on restoring the road surface will continue, and the road will be opened for traffic in the near future.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and investigative actions are being carried out. Based on the results of the investigation, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of the responsible persons.
The situation is under the constant control of the Tashkent City Administration.
