Tashkent Mayor’s Delegation Holds Business Forum with Heads of Over 20 Major Chinese Companies

A delegation from Tashkent led by Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov held a business forum with the leadership of more than 20 major Chinese companies operating in the fields of construction, tourism, industry, services, and social infrastructure management.

📈 During the event, Chinese companies presented their portfolios and shared information about their international projects and practical experience in infrastructure construction, industrial production, tourism development, and the management of modern social facilities.

🧠 A presentation was organized for the forum participants on Tashkent’s investment potential, promising infrastructure and investment projects, as well as projects for the comprehensive development of tourism and the urban environment. Representatives of the hokimiyat provided detailed information on the benefits, preferences, and state support measures available for foreign investors in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

🔺 After the official part, the forum continued in an interactive format. Representatives of Chinese businesses had the opportunity to ask questions regarding project implementation, connection to engineering infrastructure, acquisition of land plots, public-private partnership mechanisms, and organization of future cooperation. Detailed explanations were provided to all questions by representatives of the hokimiyat and relevant organizations.

🇺🇿 Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov noted that separate working groups will be formed for each interested company to develop projects in detail and support initiatives. He also emphasized that regular video conferences and working negotiations will be held with the participation of Chinese companies and relevant structures of Tashkent city to ensure prompt cooperation and promote joint projects.
