Work is under way in Tashkent to wash trees and plants from dust
🌧 This year’s autumn, just like last year, once again brings to mind the problem of precipitation shortage. According to Uzhydromet data, September 2026 was extremely dry. According to open meteorological data, since the beginning of October only 11 mm of precipitation has been recorded in Tashkent, while the average monthly norm is 24 mm.
🌳 Understanding how important it is to provide additional care for green areas and the urban environment under such conditions, specialised landscaping services are taking measures to reduce the consequences of dust pollution.
▫️Water is being sprayed with the help of specialised equipment — this makes it possible to carefully wash the crowns of trees, clean the leaves of accumulated dust and additionally moisten certain parts of the city territory.
🟢Of course, these measures cannot replace natural precipitation or completely solve the dust problem. However, even such efforts that may seem small at first glance also contribute to maintaining a comfortable microclimate and creating better conditions for the population.
✔️Care for the city is manifested in both large and small daily work. Tashkent is consistently moving towards ecological sustainability, and at the centre of this work always stands the well-being of city residents, the protection of green areas and the goal of turning the capital into an even cleaner, greener and more comfortable place to live.
