Chilanzar: report, dialogue and practical solutions

📍In Chilanzar District, the ongoing work on the development of the territory, existing problems and next tasks were reviewed on site in the “Report, Dialogue, Presentation” format. The processes were attended by Tashkent City Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov, heads of responsible organizations and agencies, mahalla activists, and representatives of the mass media.

➡️Throughout the day, the main attention was focused on areas that directly affect people’s daily lives — utility infrastructure, security, landscaping, public spaces, digital management, entrepreneurship, employment, and the development of the social sphere.

🧠First, the capabilities of the Chilanzar District Situation Center, which operates on the basis of the “Smart District” platform, were presented. The opportunities for monitoring the situation in the territory in real time through the center, combining data from various agencies, promptly identifying problems, and making management decisions on them were reviewed.

🕐In the “Botirma” mahalla and the 24/7 gastronomic area on Al-Khorazmiy Street, issues of ensuring a safe environment, prevention of offenses, irrigation systems, social infrastructure, and the comprehensive development of mahallas were discussed. The new public space created on Al-Khorazmiy Street, pedestrian and bicycle paths, recreation areas, and conditions created for entrepreneurship were also inspected.

⛽️In the “Bog‘zor” mahalla, work aimed at increasing the reliability of energy and heat supply, the operation of a modern cogeneration substation, and plans for the gradual modernization of utility infrastructure were reviewed. Issues of expanding barrier-free, convenient solutions that match Tashkent’s unified design approaches in the urban environment were also discussed.

🧑‍💻At the Trade Academy, a system aimed at preparing young people and job-seeking citizens for professions that meet the requirements of the labor market, linking theoretical education with practice, and bringing trainees directly to workplaces was presented.

💬At the end of the day, an open dialogue was held with Chilanzar activists. The socio-economic development of the district, infrastructure in the mahallas, education, healthcare, landscaping, and citizens’ appeals were discussed. Responsible persons were appointed for the raised issues, relevant instructions were given, and their implementation was taken under control.

➡️The main essence of this format is to see the situation in the territory not from the office, but directly on site, to listen to people, and to ensure that the result of every project is felt, first of all, in the daily life of the population.
